The new Rapha softshell was on show at the Rouleur exhibition at the Host Gallery. Looks pretty much the same as the old one, just with grey lining, rather than pink.
This morning's rain made me reflect on the jacket. Great breathability, good fit, looks pretty good, too. Stitching can be a bit dodgy (at least on mine). And it's pretty water resistant - except at the seams on the arms and the Rapha logo. My shirt was soaked at the inner elbow. Perhaps I need to attack it with some seam sealant?

Interesting to hear about Rapha dodgy stitching. I have had 3 items with poor quality stitching. Fixed shorts, club shirt and Belgium hat.
Still love the stuff, but I've had to set to on the jacket with some needle and thread - and a blob of superglue to stop it running here and there. No problems with the hat and shirt yet (although a snag in a merino vest - I think it was a second at the sample sale, though). I'm not sure how long the button on the fixed shorts will stay, either.
That said, even Daks can be a bit unreliable, despite them trying to be a Bond Street brand. Had all the buttons fall of my overcoat after a couple of wears!
